六届全国人大常委会第22次会议,通过了《中华人民共和国档案法》,记者就这个法律的有关问题,走访了全国人大常委会法制工作委员会负责人。问:为什么要制定档案法? 答:简要地说,制定档案法,一是为了加强对档案的管理和收集、整理工作;二是为了加强对档案的利用,发挥档案的作用。我国的档案历史悠久、内容丰富,其中包括唐、元、明、清各代和民国留下来的历史档案,中国共产党领导的革命斗争保存下来的档策,以及建国以来形成的各方面档案。这些档案,对于经济建设、教学科研以及其他各项工作都有重要价值,是国家和社会的宝贵财富。现在,有些同志对档案的重要性认识不够,
