论述了并行工程（ＣｏｎｃｕｒｒｅｎｔＥｎｇｉｎｅｅｒｉｎｇ，ＣＥ）环境下产品设计过程的特点以及产品设计与其它过程设计及制造过程的关系。提出产品设计必须与过程设计并行一体化和交叉进行，指出在产品设计阶段通过质量功能配置（ＱｕａｌｉｔｙＦｕｎｃｔｉｏｎＤｅｐｌｏｙｍｅｎｔ，ＱＦＤ）进行由上至下的质量规划以及通过面向质量的设计而实现由下至上的产品设计过程监督。
The characteristics of product design process in ConcurrentEngineering (CE) environment and the relationship between product design and other process design and manufacturing processes are discussed. It is pointed out that the product design must be integrated and cross-linked with the process design in parallel, and the bottom-up product design is pointed out from the quality planning (QFD) in the product design stage to the top-down quality planning and through the quality-oriented design Process supervision.
