ISDN在家庭中的应用 居家办公既可以大大节约时间(减少上下班路上的时间,避免交通阻塞),又可以平衡工作与家务(可在家灵活选择工作时间和安排个人生活),更可以提高工作效率(没有传统办公室的分心和干扰)。ISDN技术的应用使得居家办公越来越普及。居家办公需要经常从各类信息库中提取最新信息和应用程序,并将工作以计算机文件的形式传至公司和相关计算机系统。这就要在家庭计算机终端与远端的主机(或局域网、服务器)之间能建立高速通信连接。
