三河市位于北京和天津之间,且与北京仅一河之隔。以地近洳河、鲍丘河、泃河三水而得名,被誉为是“京东明珠”。为了配合城市发展,宣传城市规划以及推动引资招商,该城市规划馆的建成无疑是展示城市风貌最好的平台和窗口。该规划馆采用世博会的展示手法打造了高科技亮点展项,参观者可以详细了解三河城市的过去、现在以及未来发展,极大地提升了三河的整体形象和知名度。展馆内设计采用了主次流线交替的单循环方式,有效引导人群,按照过去、现在及未来的顺序,依次参观印象三河、城市足迹、环首都绿色经济圈、实力三河、创业三河、和谐三河、未来三河、生态三河各区。
