Digi introduced its AccelePort family of server-based remote access solutions in early November with asynchronous boards and BR ISDN adapters testing interoperability with RAS (Remote Access Service) in Microsoft Corp.’s Windows NT 5.0 Beta 1. According to a recent IDC report, Digi has grown 45% annually in the server-based remote access market to 3.3 million today, or about 54.6% of the asynchronous market. Digi CEO believes that the remote access market will grow rapidly with the popularity of Nt operating system and users will pay more attention to the flexibility of remote access products. Difi is currently the only company that offers analog and digital products for Windows NT 5.0 RAS.
