When it comes to translation, one may focus only more on the source and target conversions themselves, while less on other factors that may affect the overall quality of the translated work, such as the normative use of punctuation between English and Chinese. This article will discuss the correct use of punctuation marks in both English and Chinese, and hope to improve the quality of translated works by focusing on the details.
