文化负载词是一类与一定文化密切相关的词汇。但文化负载词会经常出现在不同的语境之中。因此文化负载词在汉译英的过程中,也会受到语域的影响。本文主要探讨语域理论对文化负载词英译的一些启示。
Culturally loaded words are a type of words that are closely related to a certain culture. But culturally loaded words often appear in different contexts. Therefore, the cultural load in the process of translating English into Chinese, will also be affected by the register. This paper mainly discusses some implications of Register Theory on English translation of culturally loaded words.
