去年10月,我在温哥华华侨之声电台访问了孙中山先生的孙女孙穗芳博士,她刚从夏威夷飞来,竟毫无倦容,格外精神,聪慧的双眸,眉宇间显露如中山先生的坚定气质,令我第一眼就认定她是孙中山先生的孙女。坐下后,她将近作《国父孙中山》一书签字并附名片赠我。孙女士直爽健谈,有问必答,毫不掩饰自己的观点。为中国实现统一研究孙中山的思想孙穗芳是孙中山先生之子孙科的女儿,1936年3月出生于上海,同济大学建筑系肄业,1967年移居夏威夷,1976年毕业于夏威夷太平洋大学,获BSA文学学士。问:你一直从事地产生意,听说做得还不错,为什么放弃生意,专心致志去研究中山先生的思想?答:1981年6月我赴上海参加祖母宋庆龄骨灰安葬仪式回来,便思考一个重大问题。祖父的伟大思想,是中华民族的宝贵财富。然而中国至今尚未统一,这是中国人民的痛心结。作为中山先生的后辈有责任研究、整理他的思想,为促进中国统一做贡献。于是我决定放弃地产生意,将全部精力用到研究、宣传祖父思想上来。 In October last year, I interviewed Dr Sun Sui-fang, the granddaughter of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, on the Voice of Overseas Chinese in Vancouver.
