Oscar Wilde is a humanistic writer whose fairy tales project rich ecological harmony thoughts. The main manifestations are the construction of harmonious ecological system (Eden image) and deconstruction (image of wasteland) in his works. Wilde noticed that in the late 19th century, Britain was experiencing various degrees of imbalance at all levels and analyzed from three aspects of nature, society and self. He advocated the establishment of a harmonious, free, equal and caring ecological system and opposed the human-induced Opposition of Nature, Alienation of Human and Society, Alienation of Human Inner Self. Between the construction and dissolution of the harmonious ecological system, Wilde shows his expectation of the harmonious society, but holds a more pessimistic attitude toward the future social development.
