1947年 H.Morrogh 等在铸铁变质处理中成功地从铸态直接获得球状石墨组织,大大提高了铸铁的强度和性能,被认为是20世纪提高铸铁强度性能的重大突破。现在采用多种球化元素和熔制方法,能获得稳定的球墨铸铁组织和性能。球墨铸铁以其优良的性能和低廉的价格为人们所瞩目,并日益广泛地应用于工业部门。然而人们没有想到,中国古代铸铁中的球状石墨组织已经在地下沉睡了两千多年。
In 1947, H. Morrogh et al. Succeeded in obtaining spherical graphite microstructure from cast as-cast in the modification of cast iron and greatly enhanced the strength and performance of cast iron. It is considered as a major breakthrough in enhancing the strength of cast iron in the 20th century. Now using a variety of ball elements and melting methods, can get stable ductile iron organization and performance. Ductile iron cast iron for its excellent performance and low prices for people to attract attention, and increasingly widely used in the industrial sector. However, people did not expect that the ancient Chinese cast iron in spherical graphite organization has been sleeping in the ground more than two thousand years.
