《小学数学课程标准》指出:“数学教学活动必须建立在学生的认知发展和已有的知识经验基础上,有效的数学学习活动不能单纯地依赖模仿与记忆,教师应激发学生的学习兴趣,向学生充分提供从事学习数学活动的机会,通过动手实践、探索与合作交流等方式使学生更好的学习数学知识”。在教师的启发诱导下,让学生主动参与课堂活动,让学生学会学习、学会发现问题、学会探究问题、学会创新,并能在真正意义上实现独立自主地学习,成为教学活动中自主探索和自我发展的主体。
