手动攻丝时,丝锥在加工过程中要进、退、进、退反复地进行。手动攻丝虽不易折断丝锥,又能保证攻丝质量,但工效很低,对要求较高的螺孔,采用普通手动攻丝的方法,加工精度和表面粗糙度也不易达到要求。故而模拟上述手动攻丝的方法,就产生了振动攻丝的方法。振动攻丝即在攻丝时人为地在丝锥和工件的相对运动方向上叠加一个振动。
