开滦赵各庄矿是一个开采近百年的大型老矿,在册职工1.7万名。1984年,我因身体有病被领导照顾到图书馆来当馆长。几年来,我坚持在职工读书活动中当好后勤兵。第一,为读者创造方便的借阅条件,举办各种有利于借阅和读书的活动。我馆有专职工作人员5名,除了日常的窗口借阅以外,还对重点自学职工实行开架借阅。为方便职工就近读书,在车间、宿舍、工房区和离退休职工活动站建立了48个基层阅览点。我们根据不同时期的工作重点,适时采购图书,并且严格把住质量关。每年我们都根据全国总工会下发的“职工读书自学活动推荐书目”准备图书,还先后举办了“全国职工读书自学活动推荐图书展借”以及各种不同专题的新书展借。另外还经常举办各种类型的读书报告会、演讲会和座谈会,举办书能益智演讲会、自学成
Kailuan Zhaogouzhuang Mine is a large mining of nearly 100 years old, 17,000 registered workers. In 1984, I was led to take care of the library as director when I was ill.
