Uranium mineralization is often associated with large enrichment of organic matter. This article examines some of the samples of the Falconeville Formation in Okro (Gabon) and some of the samples from the Permian in Lodeve (France). The methods used are organic geochemical methods and optical microscopy. Microscopic observation is performed under transmitted light and reflected light (natural light and fluorescence). Comparisons of samples containing uranium and depleted uranium were made in the Lodiv basin. Kerogen samples with kerogen evolved significantly deeper degree, no chloroform extract. (C_6-c_6) is the dry gas component, and the gasoline component (C_6-c_15) contains only the light fraction (C_1-c_8). In conclusion, if the depleted uranium sample contains good organic matter and is in the raw oil stage, Then the organic matter containing uranium samples is more mature, that is, in the gas production stage.Oako samples and Ludev uranium samples similar (low chloroform extract content, gas composition of dry gas, light gasoline Component), but the evolution of organic matter in the sample seems to be higher (vitrinite and shell reflectance, “fixed carbon ratio”), and closer to the uranium ore body, the degree of evolution of organic matter is higher and higher. The conclusion of the preliminary study is that the change of organic matter caused by radiation itself shows that the degree of evolution is obviously increased.
