2006年2月10日,在埃及著名的法老陵区——国王谷,一座最新发现的古代墓室被正式打开。自1922年埃及法老图坦卡蒙陵墓开启以来,时隔84年,国王谷终于再次发现新墓穴,这一重大新闻吸引了全球考古界人士的目光。由美国考古队发现的这座墓室离大名鼎鼎的图坦卡蒙陵墓只有数米之隔。当人们通过陵墓门上的小缝向里望时,发现这座单室陵墓中共有五个木棺,这些木棺都状似人形,覆有彩色的面具,其中一具木棺向墓门一侧翻倒,上面绘有一个女性的脸部,黑色的长发, 细细的眉毛,涂着眼影,脖子上戴着粗大的金色项链。位于角落的另一具木棺也已部分打开, 露出了裹着木乃伊的褐色布。
On February 10, 2006, a newly discovered ancient tomb was officially opened in the Valley of the Kings, the famous burial ground in Egypt. Since the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun was opened in 1922 in Egypt, 84 years later, the Valley of Kings finally discovered another new catacombs, a major news event that has attracted the attention of the world’s archaeologists. The tomb, discovered by the American archeology team, is only a few meters from the famous Tutankhamun Tomb. When people look through the small stitches on the door of the mausoleum, they find that there are five wooden coffins in the single-room mausoleum. The wooden coffins resemble human figures with colored masks. One of the wooden coffins leads to the tomb door Side tumbling, painted a female face, black hair, thin eyebrows, eye shadow painted, neck wearing a thick golden necklace. Another wooden coffin in the corner was also partly opened, revealing a brown cloth wrapped in mummies.
