“2011”是湖北省农科院经作所从日本“缟王西瓜”中分离育成的西瓜新品种,具有早熟、优质、丰产、座果性能良好、适应性强等特点。在中等栽培条件下,亩产约1500公斤;在优良栽培管理条件下,亩产可达2000公斤以上。该品种适宜春秋两季栽培,作为秋植西瓜较优的配套品种,已于1985年经省内专家、教授鉴定通过。目前在我省鄂中、鄂南、鄂东大部分地区以及湖南、四川、贵州、江苏、浙江、江西、河南、山东、上海等20余省(市)已引进试种和试验,普遍反映较好。1989年经湖北省农
“2011” is a new watermelon variety bred from Japan by the Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
