1994年7月19日中国联合通信有限公司的成立是我国电信体制改革的重大举措,对我国电信业打破垄断、引入竞争、改善服务、促进发展起到了积极的推动作用。作为我国拥有业务最多的电信运营企业和惟一一家同时在纽约、香港、上海三地上市的电信运营企业,中国联通在发展壮大的过程中有太多独特之处。而今天,中国联通正通过自身的竞争力迎接电信市场激烈的竞争形势和不断出现的新机遇。
July 19, 1994 The establishment of China United Telecommunications Co., Ltd. is a major measure for the reform of China’s telecom system. It has played a positive role in promoting the telecom industry in China by breaking the monopoly, introducing competition, improving services and promoting development. As China’s largest telecom operator and the only telecom operator listed in New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai at the same time, China Unicom has many unique features in its growth and development. Today, China Unicom is grasping the fierce competition in the telecommunications market and emerging new opportunities through its own competitiveness.
