在苏联十月革命胜利六十八周年之际,我们特请任栋梁同志写了这篇文章,回忆其父任辅臣和中国红军战士为保卫苏维埃政权而进行的艰苦卓绝的战斗和伟大功绩。任栋梁同志是我国目前健在的、受过列宁接见的唯一的一位老同志。多年来,中国战士的光辉形象一直受到苏联人民的崇敬。解放后,我党和国家领导人也一直关怀着任辅臣烈士的家属。现在,任栋梁同志一家人生活得很幸福。——编者
On the 68th anniversary of the victory of the October Revolution in the Soviet Union, we specially asked Comrade Ren Dongliang to write this article, recalling the arduous fighting and great achievements of his father Ren Fuchen and the Chinese Red Army fighters in defending the Soviet government. Comrade Ren Dongliang is the only old comrade in our country that is currently alive and has met with Lenin. For many years, the glorious image of Chinese soldiers has always been revered by the Soviet people. After the liberation, our party and state leaders have also been caring about the families of Martyrs volunteers. Now, Comrade Ren Dongliang lives happily. --editor
