语言是文化的一部分,又是文化的载体和映象。语言不能脱离文化而存在,文化则是语言赖以生存和发展的土壤,二者有着密切的关系。在翻译实践中,我们要充分考虑原语言和目的语中的文化差异,要尽力克服这种差异,要对原语和目的语所属的两种文化进行更透彻的理解,力求在传递信息时获得最大的等值率,从而实现更大限度的翻译等值和文化交流。
Language is a part of culture, but also a carrier and reflection of culture.
