Nimodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker used to treat ischemic brain damage caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage. This article studies the effect of nimodipine on pharmacokinetics and plasma adenosine levels in patients with cerebral ischemia. Twelve cerebral ischemic patients (9 males and 3 females) with mean age (6 8.8 ± 11.2) years and mean body weight (6 7.9 ± 9.3 kg were included in the study.
