The solidification process of hypereutectic high chromium cast iron near liquidus was treated by pulse current and the effect of pulse current parameters (pulse voltage and frequency) on the solidification structure was investigated. It was found that the increase of pulse frequency and voltage all contributed to Eutectic high chromium cast iron solidifies in the organization of carbide refinement and granulation.Pulse frequency increases to promote the precipitation of a large number of small granular primary carbides, the phenomenon of divorced eutectic becomes more obvious, lamellar eutectic carbides reduce The increase of pulse voltage promotes the refinement and granulation of primary carbides and the shortened eutectic carbides, while the excessively high voltage also promotes dissociation eutectic, resulting in the formation of more primary carbides.
