本刊编辑委员会委员、原北京大学泌尿外科研究所所长顾方六教授因病医治无效于2003年11月15日在北京逝世,享年76岁。 顾方六教授为我国著名泌尿外科学专家,北京大学泌尿外科研究所创始人之一,在泌尿外科专业享有很高的声誉,曾任中华医学会泌尿外科学分会主任委员、中华泌尿外科杂志总编辑、中华外科杂志副总编辑、第6届亚洲泌尿外科学分会主席、国际泌尿外科学会中国国家代表、世界卫生组织泌尿外科疾病国际咨询委员会指导委员会委员。
Our editorial board member, former director of Institute of Urology, Peking University Professor Gu Fangli invalid for medical treatment on November 15, 2003 in Beijing died at the age of 76. Professor Gu Fangli is one of the famous experts in urology in our country. He is one of the founders of the Institute of Urology in Peking University and enjoys a high reputation in urology. He was the chairman of the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the chief of the Journal of Urology Editor, deputy chief editor of Chinese Journal of Surgical Journal, chairman of the 6th Asia Urology Branch, the Chinese national representative of the International Society of Urology, the steering committee of the International Advisory Committee on Urological Diseases of the World Health Organization.
