中国当代著名散文家朱自清在自己的作品《荷塘月色》里引用梁元帝所作的《采莲赋》片段来抒发情怀。由于该作品的广为流传,《采莲赋》片段也被译为不同语言,即使同一种语言也有不同的版本。本文从翻译学中归化和异化的不同视角分析《采莲赋》片段的两个英译版本,从而试图找出中国古代诗赋翻译的适宜道路。翻译中采用归化还是异化的方式一直是翻译界争论的热点,究竟孰优孰劣至今没有答案。笔者认为,无论是站在实用还是美学的角度上,翻译中采用归化还是异化的方式应当取决于译者的翻译目的和目标读者的需求。
Zhu Ziqing, a well-known contemporary essayist in China, used the fragment of “Cai Lian” made by Liang Yuandi in his work “Lotus Pond Moonlight” to express his feelings. Due to the widespread use of the work, the “Cai Lian” fragment has also been translated into different languages, even though the same language has different versions. This article attempts to find two suitable versions of the translation of poems and fuctions in ancient China from two different versions of the translation of the poem “Lian Lian Fu” from different perspectives of naturalization and alienation in translation studies. How to use domestication or alienation in translation has always been a hot issue in the field of translation. There is no answer as to which one is better or worse. The author believes that whether it is practical or aesthetic, the way of naturalization or alienation in translation should depend on the translator’s purpose of translation and the target readership.
