在找汽轮机组转子的中心时,必须定期地将转子转动一定的角度。目前,在安装和检修汽轮机组时,是利用汽轮机室的桥形吊车或带电动传动装置的机械装置转动转子。一般,这些装置又笨又大,安装要费很多时间。曾经想制造液力传动转动装置,但因为套筒一滑轮链、带摩擦带的卡子等运行不良,没有试制成功。考那斯电力检修局的企业研制和采用了结构和操作都比较简单的汽轮机组转子定期转动装置(见图),可用它转动1个或2个转子,或未从汽缸中取出
