Objective: To explore the effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine on constipation after anal fissure surgery. Methods: According to the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, 60 patients with constipation after anal fissure surgery were selected from Kaiping City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2014 to May 2016. Patients in the study were randomly divided into treatment groups according to the treatment methods. In addition to routine Western medicine treatment, the observation group was given homemade Maxingzi Spleen Ointment to observe and compare the clinical effects, stools and other accompanying symptoms before and after intervention. Results: (1) Compared with the control group (66.67%), the effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher (93.33%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). (2) Compared with the control group (5.55 ± 2.88), the total score of stool symptom in observation group was significantly lower (5.55 ± 2.88), the difference was statistically significant (P0.05) In contrast, the total score of stool symptoms in the observation group was significantly lower, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). (3) Compared with the control group (13.60 ± 2.85), the total score of symptoms associated with the observation group was significantly lower (8.50 ± 2.96), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05) In contrast, the total score of symptoms associated with observation group decreased significantly after treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Integrative treatment of anal fissure postoperative constipation significantly less adverse reactions.
