The Effect of Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Intention of College Students
—The Moderating Role of Proactive Personality

Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between college students' entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention, and the moderating effect of proactive personality on them. Methods 248 college students were investigated with entrepreneurial education scale, entrepreneurial intention scale and proactive personality scale. Results Entrepreneurship education had a significant positive influence on entrepreneurial intention (β=0.633, P <0.001). Proactive personality has a significant positive influence on entrepreneurial intention (β=0.186, P <0.01). Proactive personality significantly positively moderated the relationship between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial intention (β=0.09, P <0.05). ConclusionStrengthening entrepreneurship education of college students can enhance their entrepreneurial intention and stimulate their entrepreneurial interest; In the process of implementing entrepreneurship education, we should also pay attention to the cultivation of students' proactive personality and carry out targeted entrepreneurship guidance.
