在教学中要把握好英语和母语的关系,二者相辅相成,不要把英语和母语对立起来,应该认识到英语和母语都是我们了解和认识世界的一种方法和渠道.事实上,母语在英语教学中具有极大的帮助作用,处于低年级段的学生就更是如此.他们初学英语,对英语的规则了解不多,且由于语言较浅显,但由于他们已经熟练地掌握了自己的母语,他们便希望能使用已具备的母语知识去解释外语中的一些语言现象,这样学习起来效果更佳,本文就此谈谈本人一点看法。
