According to Roybal KT, October 3, 2016 [Cell, 2016,167 (2): 419-432.] Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, USA, have built a system that accurately identifies diseased cells anywhere in the body and performs a series of Customizable responses of human immune cells, including delivery of drugs or other therapeutic vehicles directly to tumors or other unhealthy tissues. In experiments conducted in mice, these immune cells called synuclein (synthetic Notch) T cells efficiently target tumors and release a specific human antibody drug to eradicate cancer without attacking normal cells .
