加农炮的诞生虽然已有500多年的历史,但是直到19世纪末才出现真正具有现代结构的加农炮。两次世界大战期间,各国研制的大量加农炮在战场上发挥了重要作用。战后,随着飞机、导弹、火箭技术的突飞猛进,加农炮在一些北约国家逐渐停止发展,但在原苏联和华约国仍得到广泛使用。
Although the birth of the cannon was more than 500 years old, it was not until the late 19th century that a real cannon of modern structure appeared. During World War II, a large number of cannons developed by various countries played an important role on the battlefield. After the war, with the rapid development of the technology in aircraft, missiles and rockets, the cannon gradually ceased to develop in some NATO countries but was still widely used in the former Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact.
