临乱受命朝阳区高碑店村位于京东郊。近年来,由于污水处理厂各五环路等国家重点工程建设占地,这个原有2300亩耕地的村子一分耕地都没了,只剩下了80亩工业用地。用村民的话说,成了一个“叫农村无农业,称农民无耕地,农转居无工作”的“三无”村。许多村民感到高碑店村没有希望了,有的甚至跑到乡政府去喊:“我们要工作,我们要吃饭!”2002年5月12日,乡党委突然把支芬叫去谈话:“组织决定把你调到高碑店村任党总支书记。”当时她在乡里的兴隆公园当党支部书记,刚把那里扭亏为盈,正是干得顺手的时候。高碑店村的困难她也不是不知道,这样一副重担叫一个外村人来挑,自己又是个女的,能行吗?可是她明白,组织决定的事,作为一名党员必须无条件服从。第二天,乡党委就把她送到了高碑店村。在干部会上,她认真地表了一个态:从今天开始,我就要把自己融入到高碑店村,不光是人来,心更来。
