约瑟夫·伯马德兹·贾斯帕是研究朝鲜问题的美国专家。他对朝鲜武装力量进行了长期的研究和分析以后指出,朝鲜已具有生产和发射生化战剂的能力和技术,并可帮助其它第三世界国家研制这类武器。起步阶段依靠外援 1950～1953年期间,朝鲜对化学和生物武器很感兴趣,朝鲜人民军进行了重大整编,增加了防化部队编制,但当时仅有极其有限的化学和生物战防御设备。这些设备来自美国、日本等国,但大部分是前苏联制造的。生化武器的检测和净化设备也是前苏联提供的。
Joseph Bezadzej Jasper is a U.S. expert who studies North Korea. After long-term research and analysis on North Korean armed forces, he pointed out that North Korea has the capability and technology to produce and launch chemical and biological warfare agents and can help other Third World countries in the development of such weapons. During the period from 1950 to 1953, the DPRK was very much interested in chemical and biological weapons. The North Korean People’s Army conducted a major reorganization and increased the preparation of chemical and chemical units, but at that time, it had only extremely limited chemical and biological warfare defense equipment. These devices come from the United States, Japan and other countries, but most are made in the former Soviet Union. Biochemical weapons testing and purification equipment is also provided by the former Soviet Union.
