阎真的长篇小说《因为女人》写的是一个叫柳依依的知识女性和几个男人的爱情故事。一个女人和几个男人,乍一听好像是艳俗的言情小说,其实不然,《因为女人》是一部关注知识女性生存困境的小说,读前部分的时候也许有些普通校园爱情小说的感觉,但是越往后读,心头便越沉重。其实《因为女人》是一部很严肃的作品,阎真想透过柳依依这个知识女性形象揭露出当今知识女性在生存的困境,也就是爱情和婚姻的问题,他也试图为知识女性在寻找一个生命的突破口。
