In late June to early July, the Provincial Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee on Earthquake Preparedness and Disaster Reduction, headed by Wang Qiongying, deputy director of the Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee, carried out the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on Earthquake Preparedness and Disaster Mitigation (hereinafter referred to as” Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Law) and Hainan Province Earthquake Preparedness and Disaster Reduction Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as “Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Ordinance”) and other relevant laws and regulations conducted a special survey.
