我們对工厂、农村进行义务帮助,是从去年紀念“12.9”廿周年时,在学校党和行政的支持之下开始的。从那以后,我們便和两个工厂(矿山机器厂与山西机器厂)、九个农村建立了联系。这里,主要把我们对工厂进行义务帮助的情况介绍一下。开始时,我們组织了700个学生到兩个工厂去义务劳动。其中265个学生分三次到太原矿山机器厂,435个学生分兩次到山西机器厂;每次劳动均为三小时。初中二年级的部分同学和三年级以上大部分同学都参加了这項活动,他們分别下列铸钢、鑄鉄、金工、农具和修理車間。去铸钢車间的学生主要是帮助拉废砂和打砂,去铸铁車間的主要是帮助抬砂、篩砂和铸件打砂;去金工车间的主要是帮助运鋼管,擦洗机器;去农具車間的主要是帮助裝配双輪双铧(物牛)的后輪、牵引杆和油漆成品,去修理車間的主要是帮助清理材料和废料。同学們的劳动积极性和自觉性都是很高的。以
