为解决手工蜡模制壳过程中工人劳动强度大、模壳质量不易保证的问题,设计了一种三工位熔模制壳机,实现了挂钩-沾浆-粘砂-摘钩的连续循环作业。制壳机结构包括底座、机械臂转盘、机械臂转盘上120°均布的3个机械臂模块和超声波传感器。3个机械臂模块在机械臂转盘的带动下依次到达三工位的位置,机械臂模块完成熔模的升降、摆动、伸缩和旋转动作。超声波传感器检测浆面和浮砂面的高度值超过预设值后报警,提醒作业人员添料。试验结果表明,三工位熔模制壳机的制壳效率明显高于手工制壳,壳模浇注后的铸件尺寸精度和表面粗糙度值也略高于手工制壳。
