建设社会主义新农村是我们党在十六届五中全会上提出的一项重大历史任务。其中,农村民主政治建设是新农村建设的重要内容,而村民自治作为农村民主政治建设的核心,尤为引人关注。进一步提高对村民自治的认识,客观地分析农村民主政治建设中存在的问题,积极探索加强农村民主政治建设的举措,是促进我国社会主义新农村建设稳步前进的政治保障。
Building a new socialist countryside is a major historic task put forward by our party at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee. Among them, the construction of rural democratic politics is an important part of the new rural construction, and the villager’s autonomy is particularly concerned as the core of rural democratic political construction. To further raise awareness of the autonomy of villagers, objectively analyze the existing problems in the construction of democratic politics in rural areas, and actively explore measures to strengthen the construction of democratic politics in rural areas are the political guarantees for the steady progress of the building of a new socialist countryside in our country.
