防止阐门漏水,是农田水利工程管理运用中的一个很重要的问题。闸门漏水的原因,主要有以下三种情况:(1)闸板底部与闸底板不完全密合,发生渗水或冒水。(2)闸槽部分漏水。(3)在水位超过闸板顶以上时,胸墙与闸板的空隙间漏水。其中尤以闸板槽漏水影响较大,过去一般多采用在闸板四周加橡皮止漏,但由于闸门经常开启,在闸板槽两侧的橡皮,容易磨擦损坏,需经常更换,成本较高,而且不易密合,也不能起到绝对止漏的作用。
