集成电路密度随著采用新工艺而迅速提高,但是必须突破现有的结构,高密度方能充分发挥作用。Altera针针不同密度的可编程逻辑发展了不同类型的结构。现在Altera推出新的“Rapheal”结构,拉开了制造含有200万门的复杂可编程逻辑(CPLD)的序幕,用Raphael结构制造的第一批器件顶计在1999年上半年进入市场,它的密度是现有可编程逻辑器件的15倍。
The density of integrated circuits has rapidly risen with the introduction of new processes, but existing architectures must be overcome to provide the highest density. Different types of structures have been developed by Altera’s needle densities of programmable logic. Now that Altera has introduced the new “Rapheal” architecture, it has kicked off the fabrication of a complex 2 million programmable logic (CPLD), with the first devices manufactured in the Raphael architecture entering the market in the first half of 1999. Its 15 times the density of existing programmable logic devices.
