宁县地处陇东黄土高原,海拔1000—1400米,年平均气温8℃,年日照2681小时,无霜期152天,年降水量577毫米,适合种植玉米、高粱等作物,常年播种面积占全县秋粮总播面积的75％。近年来亩产一直在400斤以上,总产1.4亿斤。去年由于种种原因,玉米、高粱成熟不良,造成了大幅度减产。秋收期间,我们在焦村、中村、金村、九岘、平子、良平、早胜、坳马八个公社二十个大队对玉米、高粱成熟状况进行了调查,同干部、老农座谈分析了减产原因。现将情况概述如下:
