当今世界, 国与国之间的竞争说到底是综合国力的竞争,民族凝聚力已经成为一个国家综合国力的一个重要组成部分。民族凝聚力,是民族传统、民族文化的积淀,是围绕国家和民族生存发展的历史命运在民众中积聚起来的一种精神力量。新时期中华民族精神支柱是通过弘扬民族精神和宣传新时代文化来塑造的。现阶段,由于我国处于急剧变化的社会转型期,缺乏强有力的统一的新的民族精神支柱来适应新形势的发展。同时,现代化发展要求各项建设必须逐渐实现规范化标准化制度化。因此,新时期在重塑中公民族精神支柱的过程中必须适应现代化的发展要求进行规范化标准化制度化建设。
