一、怕盆土透水性差。特别是冬季栽植树桩,必须采用透水透气性能强的沙质壤土。这是成败的关键。二、怕水多烂根。由于休眠期气温低,水份蒸发极慢,如遇水多,势必导致根系腐烂而整株死亡。只要盆土湿润即可,免浇定根水,并用塑料薄膜覆盖或将整树罩住以避免雨水进入盆中。三、怕冷水洗根。笔者曾在冬季给一根系极好的紫薇桩换盆,因在冷水中洗根栽种失败。野外采桩以带宿土的最妙,并力争栽种及时。原则上冬季不换盆为要,往往易活树桩也容易在冬季换盆失败。如非换不可,以保留部分土坨为妙。
