Spot welding is widely used in the production of sheet metal structures. Reasonable choice of spot welding lap shape is very important. It directly affects the spot welding process, product appearance and quality. Here are four sets of comparisons of correct and incorrect thin-metal pole lap shapes to choose the proper shape for the metal structure.
