Electroencephalogram is a record of spontaneous electrical activity of cerebral cortical neurons, through the study of the brain’s functional status, through the frequency, amplitude and waveform of its tracing, as well as its appearance and distribution. Therefore, the electrical activity of the brain can be regarded as one of the criteria for measuring the state of consciousness. Awareness disorders, especially those who are in coma, do not ask about their causes. Generally speaking, about 80% of EEGs show high amplitude and slow activity. In recent years, coma patients have also seen awake state can occur rhythm and other rhythms, aroused people’s attention. Therefore, it has been suggested that stupor should be classified according to the EEG occurring in the coma. Has been divided into α.β.θ.δ.Fusiform wave, three-phase wave, abnormal brain wave abnormal coma and so on. Now only α.β and shuttle coma for an introduction.
