CHINA will continue to improve itsmacro—economic prograrnmes andcurb inflation so as to ensure a sustainedgrowth of the economy in 1995,Chi-na’s top leader told a national economicconference.The four—day Cen-tral Economic Work Conference,chaired by President and Party Gen-eral Secretary Jiang Zemin.In their speeches,the Party and gov-ernment leaders said that in the comingyears,the State will take effective stepsto maintain an appropriate economicgrowth rate,quell price hikes,andimprove the investment climate.At thesame time,the country will renew ef-fort to enhance agricultural develop-ment.
