在生活水平比较低下的时候,应当大力提倡节俭。现在人们的生活水平大大提高了,还提倡什么节俭呀?特别使人不解的是,对幼儿也要进行节俭教育。现在每个家庭就这一个“独一无二”的宝贝,谁还舍得让孩子过苦行僧的生活?有这种疑问的绝不止一两位家长。荀子说:“家富而愈俭。”提倡节俭,并不仅仅是着眼于物质,而主要是着眼于精神。节俭是一种品德修养。要孩子们节俭,不是因为物质生活条件匮乏,也不是要孩子们过那种“新三年旧三年,缝缝补补又三年”的生活,而是要通过节俭教育,使孩子们正确对待物质生活条件,培养起良好的生活习惯和面对物质诱惑的自我克制能力。家长们不是都希望自己的孩子将来能成才吗?要
