随着市场经济的发展和经济全球化进程的加快,人们使用地名的频率更高了,对地名规范化、标准化和信息化服务的要求更迫切了。由于历史原因和管理工作的滞后,地名在某些方面的混乱和不规范问题仍然比较突出,地名的混乱或不规范往往给经济社会活动带来不便,甚至造成一系列经济、社会问题。因此,切实加强地名管理和服务工作,是社会主义现代化建设的客观需要,也是开展国际、国内交往的必然要求。
With the development of market economy and the acceleration of economic globalization, people use geographical names more frequently, and the requirements for standardized place names, standardization and information service are even more pressing. Due to the historical reasons and the lagging management, the confusion and irregularities of place names in some aspects are still quite prominent. The confusion or irregularity of place names often brings inconvenience to economic and social activities and even causes a series of economic and social problems. Therefore, effectively strengthening the management and service of geographical names is an objective requirement of socialist modernization and an inevitable requirement for conducting international and domestic exchanges.
