The 20th century historiography edited by Anna Green and Catherine Truple is a rather insightful historical work, of which empiricist and Marxist historiography have the most relations with the British historiography. Emphasizing the importance of materials in the study of history as well as historiography should adhere to the public’s position, have a deep foundation in British historiography. And they will continue to form the basic paradigm of future British historiography.
