去年11月,美国康奈尔大学电子计算机专业23岁的学生莫里斯,看准了他父亲电脑程序设计上的几个缺点,想跟他开个玩笑,于是就将自己设计的软件程序置入电脑系统。不料该程序象“病毒”一样,竞以闪电般的速度传播开来。首先是美国国防部远景规划局的电脑网络告急,紧接着全国8500台军用、民用电脑陆续被“病毒”感染,陷入瘫痪或半瘫痪状态。这一“电脑病毒”事件,着实让美国军界和商界惊恐了一阵子。科学的发展使电脑成为时代的宠儿,不过当它撒起“娇”来,几乎使它的设计者也显得无能为力。
Last November, Morris, a 23-year-old computer science student at Cornell University in the United States, spotted some of the shortcomings of his father’s computer programming and wanted to joke about him. He put his own software program into place computer system. Unexpectedly, the program as “virus”, competing at a lightning speed spread. First of all, the computer network of the United States Department of Defense’s Vision Planning Bureau was in an emergency. Immediately after that, 8,500 military and civilian computers in the country were gradually infected by the “virus” and plunged into paralysis or semi-paralysis. This “computer virus” incident really frightened the U.S. military and business circles for a while. The development of science has made the computer a darling of the times, but it almost seems to be overwhelmed by the fact that it has spawned “Jiao ”.
