“海蜜一号”甜瓜具有蔓势强、耐湿抗病性好、质量优、产量高的特点。果实开花至成熟37～40天,长卵圆形,果型指数1.33,果皮黄白色,光滑有浅棱,肉色淡橙,肉厚 3.2厘米,可食率 50％～55％,折光糖度 13～15度,肉质松脆,味甘气香。平均单果重1.1公斤,每亩产量在2000～3000公斤,1999年9月通过了南通市农作物品种审定委员会审定。其栽培技术如下:
“Honey honey No.” melon has a strong tendency to spread, moisture resistance and disease resistance, excellent quality, high yield characteristics. Fruit flowering to maturity 37 to 40 days, long oval, fruit index 1.33, peel yellow-white, smooth with light edges, flesh pale orange, flesh 3.2 cm, edible rate of 50% to 55%, refractive index of 13 ~ 15 degrees, succulent crisp, sweet and fragrant.
