Cerebrovascular disease (CVD) complicated with multiple organ failure (MOF) can significantly increase mortality. CameoCjet et al [’] 1986 reported multiple organ injury mortality as high as 30% to 100%. Department of Neurology, our hospital from March 1988 to October 1997 were treated with acute CVD 1600 cases, of which 208 cases of acute cerebrovascular disease complicated with multiple organ failure, accounting for 13%.
